[Changes in relationships with friends, husband and family after cancer diagnosis in women].

The proposal of this research was to identify changes occurred in relationships after cancer diagnosis in the women. As a theoretical-methodological strategy it was utilized respectively the Symbolic Interacionism and the Grounded Theory. Ten women bearers of cancer and one familiar joined the research.

[The meaning of cancer in the everyday of women undergoing chemotherapeutic treatment].

The aim of this study was to reveal the feelings of women affected with breast neoplasia in their family environment. Its methodological strategy is based on the phenomenological approach, a method that seeks to reveal the phenomenon, that is, that which shows itself to itself, considering the language of the person who experiences it. When questioned about their experience with cancer, women expressed their view, their feelings and experiences with the disease.
