Objective: The aim of the study was to study the microflora of periodontal pockets and gingival fluid; determine the qualitative composition of periodontal pathogens by PCR; to determine the main associations of microorganisms, to determine the periodontal index in patients with cement caries, external pathological resorption and in patients from the comparison group.

Material And Methods: The examination included 80 patients, including 28 patients with a diagnosis of cement caries, 25 patients with a diagnosis of external cervical root resorption, 27 patients in the comparison group without tooth root damage. Based on the results of microbiological studies in various clinical conditions of the oral cavity, in particular, in different forms of lesions of the periodontium and hard tissues of teeth, the predominant microbial representatives and their combinations were identified.

Background: Currently various studies are conducted to improve the effect of existing and developing new remineralizing agents. One of the trends in remineralizing therapy is the development of toothpaste allowing brushite crystals formation in the demineralized lesions of hard tooth tissues.

Aim: The aim of this study was to assess the effect of toothpaste, forming a brushite, on the functional acid resistance of enamel and the speed of its remineralization.

The purpose of the study is a comparative assessment of hygiene products recommended for increased sensitivity of teeth and having an anti-inflammatory effect on periodontal tissue. The study involved 40 people aged 55-65 years with hyperesthesia and chronic mild and moderate periodontitis, which were divided into 2 groups (20 people each) depending on the toothpastes used based on HAP. Over time, indicators of hygiene, sensitivity, bleeding, PMA indices and the periodontal probing depth are evaluated.

Objective: Discrepancy in the echocardiographic severity grading of aortic stenosis (AS) based on current guidelines has been reported. We sought to investigate the left ventricular outflow tract diameter (LVOTd) as a source of inconsistencies, and to explore hypothetical alternatives for discrepancy improvement.

Design: Retrospective echocardiographic cross-sectional analysis.

Organic mitral regurgitation (MR) is prevalent in the general population. Disease progression, involving potentially irreversible left ventricular dysfunction, implies a poor prognosis for patients who do not receive appropriate treatment. Immediate rescue surgery is indicated in those with severe MR in whom subclinical left ventricular dysfunction is suggested by echocardiographic measurements or the presence of symptoms, however minor.

The adult Brachyrrhine (3H1 Br/+) mouse displays severe midfacial retrognathia, with a "pugnose" external appearance, but information concerning craniofacial morphology of the homozygote (3H1 Br/Br) mutant is lacking. This study characterized craniofacial phenotype and genotypic features of the homozygous condition. Segregation analysis was performed by phenotypic scoring of offspring from 3H1 Br/+ reciprocal matings.
