Chronic allograft nephropathy (CAN) is the most important cause of late renal allograft loss. The standard diagnosis of CAN is based on pathological examinations according to Banff'97 scheme. The aim of the study was to evaluate the usefulness of tubular and glomerular proteinuria in non-invasive recognition of vascular changes accompanying CAN (AH--arteriolar hyaline thickening, CV--vascular fibrous intimal thickening).
