Sensory evaluation plays an important role in New Product Development (NPD) in food industry. In the present study, the current trends of using sensory evaluation in NPD in the food industry in countries that belong to EIT Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) were identified. The research was conducted in the first quarter of 2020.

Ganglionated plexi ablation requires previous detection. We aimed to assess determinants of successful ganglionated plexi detection and to correlate range of ganglionated plexi ablation with risk of early atrial fibrillation recurrence.

Material And Methods: We analysed a group of 204 patients, of whom 160 (78.43%) underwent surgical treatment for cancer of the corpus uteri and 44 (21.
Background: Elevated total bilirubin (TB) and transaminases are frequently reported in patients with heart failure and are related to their worse prognosis. On the basis of hemodynamic data from previous studies, the investigators hypothesized that elevated bilirubin and transaminases are associated with different patterns of cardiac remodeling and dysfunction in patients with heart failure (i.e.

Objective: The aim of our study was to evaluate the occurrence of some heart abnormalities in migraine patients by routine and contrast transthoracic echocardiography.
Subjects And Methods: We assessed the occurrence of PFO, ASA, and MVP in 96 patients with migraine without aura (87 females), in 62 patients with migraine with aura (41 females) and in 53 healthy persons (40 females).
Lymphangiomas are rare benign lesions of the lymphatic vessels that are most commonly diagnosed in childhood. Intraperitoneal localization is unusual as, typically, they are located in the head and neck areas. In general, abdominal lymphangiomas seem to be asymptomatic, however, patients may occasionally suffer from acute abdominal symptoms, due to intestinal obstruction or peritonitis.

Case Presentation: We report a case of glassy cell carcinoma of the uterine cervix in 67-year-old female, nullipara, diagnosed two months after symptom onset, in IV-B stage of the disease according to the FIGO classification scale.
Over the last years, significant survival benefits for breast cancer were derived from the use of postoperative systemic therapies and radiotherapy. Although these two modalities have been extensively used, the optimal strategies of their combining remain debatable. There have been few randomized studies addressing this issue and their results are generally inconclusive.

Judgments about people with pain are influenced by contextual factors that can lead to stigmatization of patients who present in certain ways. Misplaced staff perceptions of addiction may contribute to this, because certain pain behaviors superficially resemble symptoms of analgesic addiction. We used a vignette study to examine hospital staff judgments about patients with genuine symptoms of analgesic addiction and those with pain behaviors that merely resemble those symptoms.

Material And Methods: In 1996-2000 at the Department of Infectious Diseases parasitic liver cysts were diagnosed in 31 patients. The diagnosis was based on imaging examinations (ultrasound, computerised tomography), serological reactions (ELISA, IHA) and histopathological investigation of the specimens obtained through fine-needle aspiration biopsy.
We report here an unusual sporadic case of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD) characterized by an abundance of prion protein (PrP)-immunopositive kuru and multicentric but not florid plaques. Molecular genetic analysis of the PRNP open reading frame region spanning codons 8-221 was performed. Neither deletion nor insertion mutations were detected in the repeat area of the PRNP.
