Polymorphism analysis of the internal transcribed spacer and small subunit of ribosomal RNA genes of Leishmania mexicana.

Leishmania mexicana causes a wide spectrum of clinical diseases. In spite of the variety of clinical forms, no data exist regarding genetic polymorphism of L. mexicana.
