: A coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak led to a worldwide pandemic. COVID-19 not only caused acute symptoms during the severe phase of the disease, but also induced long-term side effects on the functioning of many organs and systems. It became clear that, in addition to COVID-19 and acute disease, the condition that develops after recovery may also negatively impact survivors' health and quality of life.
