This study analyses the impact of initial conditions on the results of numerical simulations of the fan load with underwater detonation and simultaneously typical harmonic loads from the operating device. It was shown that different initial conditions affect both displacement and velocity results. Furthermore, significant differences were indicated when comparing the results with devices without harmonic loads.

The focus was on the injection system, with a particular emphasis on injectors. An unusual approach to the implementation of research enabling the smooth regulation of the opening pressure of the mechanical injector during engine operation at a constant load was presented.

For naval application, shock absorber mounting systems must fulfil two functions. The first one supports the suspended mass in the absence of waving or detonation while providing isolation from vibrations and shock impact.

The tests were carried out using non-destructive testing (NDT). The authors made an attempt to determine the validity of the use and degree of effectiveness of the tests based on laser vibrometry in detecting defects in welded joints.

The technical requirements for naval ships machine foundations are far more strict in comparison to merchant's vessels. These requirements are confirmed in the military standardization of many countries. Underwater Explosion (UNDEX phenomena) detonation pulses, force naval engineers to design and implement different shock absorbers made from a wide variety of materials.
