AMG 966 is a bi-specific, heteroimmunoglobulin molecule that binds both tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) and TNF-like ligand 1A (TL1A). In a first-in-human clinical study in healthy volunteers, AMG 966 elicited anti-drug antibodies (ADA) in 53 of 54 subjects (98.1%), despite a paucity of T cell epitopes observed in T cell assays.

Parkinson's disease (PD) shows high heterogeneity with regard to the underlying molecular pathogenesis involving multiple pathways and mechanisms. Diagnosis is still challenging and rests entirely on clinical features. Thus, there is an urgent need for robust diagnostic biofluid markers.

Medulloblastoma is a highly aggressive pediatric brain tumor, in which sporadic expression of the pluripotency factor OCT4 has been recently correlated with poor patient survival. However the contribution of specific OCT4 isoforms to tumor aggressiveness is still poorly understood. Here, we report that medulloblastoma cells stably overexpressing the OCT4A isoform displayed enhanced clonogenic, tumorsphere generation, and invasion capabilities.

Parkinson's disease (PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative disorder, affecting 5% of the elderly population. PD diagnosis is still based on the identification of neuromotor symptoms although nonmotor manifestations emerge years prior to diagnosis. The discovery of biomarkers at the earliest stages of PD is of extreme interest.
