Background: Understanding sleep problems in late adolescents caused by daily stress is essential due to their increased vulnerability to stress-related sleep issues. While previous research has demonstrated the potential protective effect of trait mindfulness, facets of mindfulness were found to have unique functions against the negative impact of stress, and the unique impact of each facet of mindfulness on the sleep problems caused by the negative impact of stress remains unclear. Thus, this longitudinal study aimed to assess the impact of stressful life events on sleep problems a year later among late adolescents and to explore the moderating effects of the five trait mindfulness facets.

A transcriptomic database was established via RNA-Seq of HCC (T) and the adjacent precancerous liver tissue (P) of Hras12V transgenic mice (Ras-Tg, HCC model) and the normal liver tissue of wild-type mice (W) of both sexes. Comparative analysis within W, P, and T and correlation expression pattern analysis revealed common/unique cluster-enriched items towards HCC between the sexes.

However, high-efficiency remediation agents remain limited, including microbial resources and remediation materials. In this study, a novel strain of Pseudomonas xizangensis S4 was isolated from plateau lake sediment, exhibiting a fluoranthene degradation rate of 41.

Methods: A total of 178 individuals diagnosed with MDD and 173 healthy controls (HCs) were recruited for this study. The Euclidean distance was calculated to assess SC-FC coupling.
Rationale And Objectives: Nasal polyps (NP) and inverted papilloma (IP) are benign tumors within the nasal cavity, each necessitating distinct treatment approaches. Herein, we investigate the utility of a deep learning (DL) model for distinguishing between NP and IP.
Materials And Methods: A total of 1791 patients with nasal benign tumors from two hospitals were retrospectively enrolled.
Cefdinir is a broad-spectrum antibiotic with good antibacterial activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and can be used for the treatment of various sensitive bacterial infections, such as community-acquired pneumonia, urinary tract infection and gonorrhoea. Herein, a single-centred, randomized, open, single-dose, two-preparation, two-cycle, two-sequence, double-crossover trial with a 7-day washout was conducted to investigate the pharmacokinetics, bioequivalence and safety of cefdinir dispersible tablets and the reference formulation of cefdinir capsules in healthy Chinese volunteers. Fifty-six healthy subjects were recruited and randomly assigned to the fasting and fed groups.

Purpose: This study aims to develop and validate a deep learning system using dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) for automated tumor segmentation and classification of HER2-zero, HER2-low, and HER2-positive statuses.
Study Type: Retrospective.
Background: Seroprevalence studies across various countries can contribute to achieving the elimination target for measles and rubella. However, in the Mainland of China, the concept of herd immunity remains unclear due to the lack of a nationwide serosurvey.
Methods: This systematic review and meta-analysis was conducted by retrieving literature reporting the seroprevalence of measles and rubella published between 2012 and 2023.
Colossal magnetoresistance (CMR) is an exotic phenomenon that allows for the efficient magnetic control of electrical resistivity and has attracted significant attention in condensed matter due to its potential for memory and spintronic applications. Heusler alloys are the subject of considerable interest in this context due to the electronic properties that result from the nontrivial band topology. Here, the observation of CMR near room temperature is reported in the shape memory Heusler alloy NiMnIn, which is attributed to the combined effects of magnetic field-induced martensite twin variant reorientation (MFIR) and magnetic field-induced structural phase transformation (MFIPT).

However, temperature fluctuations that limit thermal comfort have hindered their practical advancement. In this study, flexible titanium dioxide-silk fibroin@phase change microcapsule nanofiber films (TiO-SF@PCM NFs) were successfully developed using an efficient electro-blown spinning (EBS) technique, with exceptional triboelectric output and superior temperature regulation capabilities.

Histone deacetylases (HDACs) are essential in regulating gene transcription through the process of histone deacetylation and have become promising therapeutic targets for the treatment of cancer and viral infections. In this study, several AAK1/HDACs dual inhibitors based on our previous reported compounds were designed and synthesized, and the antiviral activity of these dual inhibitors were evaluated.

This study investigated the value of longitudinal multimodal deep learning (DL) based on breast MR and ultrasound (US) in predicting pathological complete response (pCR) after NAC.
Materials And Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the pre-NAC and post-2nd-NAC MR and/or US images of 448 patients enrolled from three centers and extracted DL features from the largest section of the breast tumour using ResNet50.
Objective: The assessment of lateral lymph node metastasis (LLNM) in patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) holds great significance. This study aims to develop and evaluate a deep learning-based automatic pipeline system (DLAPS) for diagnosing LLNM in PTC using computed tomography (CT).
Methods: A total of 1,266 lateral lymph nodes (LLNs) from 519 PTC patients who underwent CT examinations from January 2019 to November 2022 were included and divided into training and validation set, internal test set, pooled external test set, and prospective test set.
Acute upper respiratory tract infections are a major public health issue, with uncontrolled inflammation triggered by upper respiratory viruses being a significant cause of patient deterioration or death. This study focuses on the Janus kinase-signal transducer and activator of transcription Rho-associated coiled-coil containing protein kinase (JAK-STAT-ROCK) signaling pathway, providing an in-depth analysis of the interplay between uncontrolled inflammation after upper respiratory tract infections and the development of neurodegenerative diseases. It offers a conceptual framework for understanding the lung-brain-related immune responses and potential interactions.

Most infectious diseases are caused by pathogens that invade the body tissues through mucosal tract. Therefore, it is essential to develop effective vaccines administered through the mucosa as a first-line of defense against major infectious diseases. Oral delivery of vaccines is currently of great interest due to its potential to elicit both mucosal and systemic immune responses, high compliance rate and non-invasive nature.
