Anodic oxidation with doped diamond electrodes: a new advanced oxidation process.

Boron-doped diamond anodes allow to directly produce OH* radicals from water electrolysis with very high current efficiencies. This has been explained by the very high overvoltage for oxygen production and many other anodic electrode processes on diamond anodes. Additionally, the boron-doped diamond electrodes exhibit a high mechanical and chemical stability.
