Unlabelled: A novel thiazole phenol conjugate, 2-aminothiazolesalicylaldehyde (receptor1) was designed and synthesized for the first time through a single step process via Schiff base condensation reaction. The formation of receptor1 was confirmed by FTIR, C NMR, and H NMR. The IR spectra confirmed the presence of the aldimine formation.

Phytochemical Profiling in Conjunction with and Studies to Identify Human α-Amylase Inhibitors in (Lam.) De Wit for the Treatment of Diabetes Mellitus.

Bioactive constituents from natural sources are of great interest as alternatives to synthetic compounds for the treatment of various diseases, including diabetes mellitus. In the present study, phytochemicals present in (Lam.) De Wit leaves were identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and further examined by qualitative and quantitative methods.

Structure-based drug design of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma inhibitors: ferulic acid and derivatives.

Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARγ), ligand-activated transcription factor, is a key modulator of genes considered in diabetes development as well as treatment. Adipogenesis differentiation through PPARγ, CCAAT-enhancer protein alpha (C/EBPα) is identified as a critical mechanism in fat accumulation and weight gain. Polyphenols studied against adipocyte differentiation is taken up for consistent support and drug discovery.

A rare case of globosus amorphus in a goat.

We present a case of globosus amorphus delivered from a goat and subjected to radiography and histological examination. Radiography revealed a lack of development of any organ system; histological sections showed evidence of lymphoid aggregations, mononuclear infiltrations, blood capillaries, and dense fibroblasts.
