Relationship between Nutritional Status Evaluated by Mini Nutritional Assessment Short-Form and Activities of Daily Living after 1 Year in Community-Dwelling Older Adults Using Outpatient Rehabilitation.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the association between nutritional status assessed by the Mini Nutritional Assessment Short-Form (MNA-SF) and activities of daily living (ADL) after 1 year and changes in ADL among community-dwelling older adults.

Methods: This study included 95 community-dwelling older adults using outpatient rehabilitation (74.7% female).

Accuracy of determining sarcopenia using SARC-CalF in community-dwelling older adults aged 75 years and older.

Objective: The accuracy of sarcopenia determination using SARC-CalF in community-dwelling older adults has been clarified in previous studies. However, this accuracy is unknown for subjects older than 75 years old. If this becomes clear, it will show the usefulness of using SARC-CalF in determining sarcopenia in community-dwelling older adults aged ≥75 years old.
