Emphysematous vaginitis in a gravid woman.

A primigravida in her late 20s presented to the obstetrics and gynaecology department in labour. On per speculum examination, multiple cystic lesions, 1-5 mm in size were observed occupying the anterior, posterior and lateral vaginal walls. Vaginal wet mount was normal and vaginal cultures were negative.
