Association between blood lipid levels and the risk of liver cancer: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

Purpose: The association between blood lipid levels and the risk of developing liver cancer remains a subject of ongoing debate. To elucidate this association, we conducted a meta-analysis by systematically incorporating data from all relevant prospective cohort studies.

Methods: We conducted a systematic search of the PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and Cochrane Library databases covering studies published from database inception through July 2023.

Enhancing the stability of lutein emulsions with a water-soluble antioxidant and a oil-soluble antioxidant.

Lutein is critical for protecting the eye against light damage. The low solubility and high sensitivity of lutein to environmental stresses prevent its further application. The hypothesis is that the combination of one water-soluble antioxidant and one oil-soluble antioxidant will be beneficial to improve the stability of lutein emulsions.
