Article Synopsis
  • * Various techniques, including fluorescence quenching and spectroscopy, revealed a strong binding between BSA and the nanoparticles, indicated by a high binding constant value.
  • * The research also demonstrates that the binding process is spontaneous and changes the transportation function of BSA in blood, suggesting that nanoparticle interactions can significantly affect protein behavior.

The monocarbonylation and dicarbonylation reactions are well-established reactions in carbonylation chemistry. This work reports unusual oxidative adjacent triple carbonylation of the tertiary amine towards oxomalonamide synthesis using a Pd catalyst. The protocol involves the use of inert tertiary amines as an active reservoir of secondary amines through sp C-N bond activation using O as an ideal oxidant.

A simple, cost-effective, and straightforward method for the synthesis of 2,3-disubstituted indole scaffolds has been developed. The present protocol involves copper-mediated tandem hydroamination followed by C-H annulation of unprotected anilines with a wide range of internal alkynes. In the presence of Cu(OAc)·HO and trifluoroacetic acid (TFA), the reaction proceeds well to afford a variety of substituted indole derivatives in moderate to good yields.

Inducing the bio-functionalization in noble metal nanoparticles like gold, silver, zinc is very important to accomplish their biocompatibility in biological activities. These metal nanoparticles are being rigorously used in bio-sensing tools keeping their remarkable properties in mind. Amongst the serum albumins, the most ample proteins in plasma are bovine serum albumin and human serum albumin.
