Prognostic Value of Tumor Markers in Gastric Cancer: A Tertiary Cancer Centre Experience.

Objectives: Gastric cancer is a heterogeneous malignancy in terms of stage-wise prognosis. This study aimed at finding any prognostic significance of preoperative carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and cancer antigen (CA) 19-9 in resectable gastric cancer.

Methods: A total of 57 patients at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bengaluru, India from January 2022 to March 2023 were included in this observational prospective study.

Role of Mean Platelet Volume in the Prognosis of Locally Advanced Gastric Cancer: A Tertiary Cancer Center Experience.

Introduction Mean platelet volume (MPV) is an inflammatory marker suggesting the activation of platelets. Many studies observed an association between MPV and cancer spread and metastasis. Hence, we have conducted a retrospective study to find the role of MPV as a prognostic marker in locally advanced gastric cancer.
