Recent breakthroughs in the field of nanoparticle-based therapeutic delivery methods have changed the standpoint of cancer therapy by effectively delaying the process of disease development. Nanoparticles have a unique capacity of good penetrating ability than other therapeutic leads used in traditional therapeutics, and also, they have the highest impact on disease management. In the current study isolongifolene-loaded Chitosan nanoparticles have been formulated, synthesized and then characterized by the use of Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, X-ray Diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscopy and Transmission Electron Microscopy.

Methods: Docking and visualization of the PIASA and rotenone were progressed against mitochondrial respiratory complex I (MCI). The in-silico analysis showed PIASA to have interaction with the binding sites of rotenone, which may reduce the rotenone interaction and its toxicity too.
Variation in levels of toxic heavy metals in river system during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown might potentially assist in development of a public health risk mitigation system associated with the water consumption. The water quality of Punnakayal estuary in the Thamirabarani River system from the south India, a vital source of water for drinking and domestic purposes, industrial usage, and irrigation was assessed here. A comparitive assessment of physico-chemical variables (pH, EC, TDS, DO, BOD, turbidity and NO), microbiological parameters (total coliform bacteria, fecal coliform bacteria, fecal streptococci and escherichia coli) and toxic metals (As, Cr, Fe, Cu, Zn, Cd, and Pb) suggested a decrease of 20% in the contaminant ratio during the lockdown period in comparison to the pre-lockdown period.

However, these neuroprotective and anti-apoptotic effects of ILF are not well understood and must be further investigated to elucidate the underlying molecular mechanism of ILF in animal experiments.

This study aims to identify potent 7,8-Dihydroxyflavone (DHF) derivatives to inhibit the ASN aggregation from in silico analysis. Molecular docking study reveals that carbamic ester derivatives of DHF [DHF-BAHPC (8q), DHF-BAHPEC (8s), DHF-BAHEC (8p), DHF-BDOPC (8c), DHF-BAPEC (8n) and DHF-BAMC (8h)] have good binding affinity towards ASN, when compared with DHF and L-DOPA; their docking score values are -16.

Inulinase are industrial food enzymes which have gained much attention in recent scenario. In this study, Inulinase producing eight bacterial colonies were isolated and screened from three different plant root tubers soil sample. Among 8 inulinase producing colonies, the higher yielding colony was selected with 25.

Introduction: Idiopathic granulomatous lobular mastitis (IGLM) is an inflammatory disease of the breast with an obscure etiology. It occurs mainly in women of reproductive age, and the lesion mimics carcinoma of the breast both clinically and radiologically.
Case Presentation: We present the case of a 29-year-old female who visited our hospital in Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu, with a 4 × 3 cm lump in the upper outer quadrant of her left breast.
Aberrations in homeostasis mechanisms including Nrf2, inflammatory, and Wnt/β-catenin signaling are the major causative factors implicated in colon cancer development. Hence blocking these pathways through natural interventions pave a new channel for colon cancer prevention. Earlier, we reported the chemopreventive effect of taxifolin (TAX) against colon carcinogenesis.

FT-Raman and FT-IR spectra of N-{(meta-ferrocenyl) Benzoyl} - l-alanine - glycine ethyl ester were recorded in solid phase. The optimized molecular geometry, the vibrational wavenumbers, the infrared intensities and the Raman scattering intensities were calculated by using density functional method(B3LYP) with 6-31G(d, p) basis set. Vibrational assignment of the molecule was done by using potential energy distribution analysis.

Infrared and FT-Raman spectra of the nonlinear optical material l-Methioninium Oxalate were recorded and analyzed. The optimized geometry, first-order hyperpolarizability and harmonic vibrational wavenumbers were calculated with the help of density functional theory method. The detailed interpretation of the vibrational spectra was carried out with the aid of normal coordinate analysis followed by scaled quantum mechanical force field methodology.

Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations at B3PW91 level with 6-311G (d) basis sets were carried out for 2,3-Pyrazinedicarboxylic acid (PDCA) to analyze in detail the equilibrium geometries and vibrational spectra. Calculations reveal that the optimized geometry closely resembles the experimental XRD data. Vibrational spectra were analyzed on the basis of potential energy distribution (PED) of each vibrational mode, which provides quantitative as well as qualitative interpretation of IR and Raman spectra.

Follicular variant of papillary carcinoma thyroid (FVPTC) is a well defined entity in histopathology, but its diagnosis in FNAC is usually missed and is challenging compared to classic papillary thyroid carcinoma.
Aims: The purpose of this study is to retrospectively analyze cytological features in histologically confirmed cases of FVPTC, compare them with literature and document the features that could increase the sensitivity of FNAC diagnosis.
Hydrocele of spermatic cord is caused by defect in closure of the processus vaginalis, as the testicles descend into the scrotum during foetal development. It usually occurs in infancy and childhood. There are two types of hydrocele of spermatic cord.

FT-IR and FT-Raman spectra of 2,4-dichlorobenzonitrile at room temperature have been recorded in the regions 200-3500cm(-)(1) and 0-3400cm(-)(1), respectively. The observed vibrational bands were analyzed and assigned to different normal modes of the molecule according to the Wilson's notation. Density functional calculations were performed to support our frequency assignments.
