A paramount factor in selecting the operative approach for gastric gastrointestinal stromal tumours (GIST) is tumour location. Tumours located high along the lesser curve of the stomach pose a challenge in laparoscopic resection. A 56-year-old lady presented with per rectal bleeding and loss of weight.
