Extracts from leaves, leaves, leaves, leaves, cloves, and fruits, known to have insecticidal properties, were compared with two checks, viz., Azadirachtin 1% EC and standard insecticide Acephate 95 SG, for their efficacy against yellow stem borer (YSB), (Walk.

The findings show that these mediators significantly enhance the reactivity of the iron-oxo complex. The study examines three substrates with varying bond dissociation energies─ethylbenzene, cyclohexane, and cyclohexadiene─alongside the [Fe(IV)O(N4Py)] complex.

The DPE-based chromophores exhibit a large Stokes shift and maintain good fluorescence quantum yields. Remarkably, these chromophores demonstrate reversible colourimetric changes and a fluorometric 'on-off-on' switch in response to pH variations.

The gas-liquid-solid interface plays a crucial role in various electrochemical energy conversion devices, including fuel cells and electrolyzers. Understanding the effect of gas transfer on the electrochemistry at this three-phase interface is a grand challenge. Scanning electrochemical cell microscopy (SECCM) is an emerging technique for mapping the heterogeneity in electrochemical activity; it also inherently features a three-phase boundary at the nanodroplet cell.

Strategic management of the inputs particularly the nutrients could aid the crops achieve optimum growth and yield. Keeping this in mind, four years of field experiment was conducted to study the effect of combining inorganic as well as organic nutrient sources using soil-test-crop-response (STCR) approach in a randomized block design having ten treatments including control, 100% Recommended Dose of Fertilizers (RDF), 50% RDF, 100% RDF + 5 kg Zn ha (100% RDF + Zn), 100% RDF + 5 t farmyard manure ha (100% RDF + FYM), 50% RDF + 5 t farmyard manure ha (50% RDF + FYM), STCR inorganic with target yield-I (STCR TY-I), STCR inorganic with TY-II, STCR integrated with TY-I (STCR TY-I) and STCR integrated with TY-II (STCR TY-II) with each treatment replicated thrice.

The geometry comprises a wavy-walled cavity filled with a water-based hybrid nanoliquid (AlO-Cu-HO) in a saturated porous medium. The finite volume approach is applied to scrutinize the hydro-thermal characteristics resulting from bottom heating and side cooling, considering various flow-controlling parameters.

The cancer cell-killing actions of CBL are limited by glutathione (GSH) conjugation, a process catalyzed by the GSH transferase hGSTA1-1 that triggers CBL efflux from cells. In the cancer cell microenvironment, intracellular GSH levels are elevated to counterbalance oxidative stress generated due to the high glycolytic demand.

To achieve this goal, cyclic peptides containing cysteine residues are rationally designed and synthesized. Among the peptides tested, those containing two cysteine residues exhibit superior stabilizing properties, ensuring the solubility and long-term stability of the QDs in aqueous solutions for several months.

In this communication, we report an electrical poling-free molecular complex [Zn(bpy)](ClO)·HO (1) with an appreciable pyroelectric coefficient value of 25 μC m K. This allowed us to harvest waste heat energy using a pyroelectric nanogenerator (PyG) device of 1, a relatively unexplored area for molecular complexes.

In this work, a premier FE copolymer, poly(vinylidene fluoride--trifluoro ethylene) (P(VDF-TrFE)), is reinforced with a lead-free double perovskite, CsSnI, to render profound properties in a hybrid nanostructure. It presents a unique example of the coupling of ferro-, pyro- and piezo-electrics to the 'photoexcitation' of exotic charges that actively empower the synergetic features.

Two groups were studied: one group was housed in a goat shed without a thermo-insulated kid barrel (control group), while the other group was housed in a shed with a thermo-insulated kid barrel (kid barrel group). Each group consisted of six kids along with their mothers.

Unlike conventional time-domain methods, which give a global view of the involved cracking modes, SN2PB has the advantage of obtaining information on cracking modes within each AE hit in reduced frequency bands. SN2PB is applied by dividing the frequency content of each AE signal into narrow bands.

Here, we show that the ABA-responsive transcription factor ABI3 controls primary root growth through the regulation of JA signalling molecule JAZ1 along with ABA-responsive factor ABI1. In the absence of ABI3, the primary root elongation zone is shortened with significantly reduced cell length.

The study considers the usual heme porphyrin (complex I) as the base compound, porphyrazine (complex II), which is obtained by replacing carbon with nitrogen at the meso position, and phthalocyanine (complex III), which is obtained through the peripheral benzoannulation of porphyrazine. The main focus here is to explore the impact of bridging groups and peripheral functionalization in heme systems on reactivity.
