Metaplastic Carcinoma Breast: A Clinical Analysis of Nine Cases.

Metaplastic Breast Carcinoma (MBC) is a rare heterogeneous group of primary breast malignancies with different subgroups; exhibits a variety of histopathologic patterns and appears to be both epithelial and mesenchymal in origin. The ideal treatment for MBC remains unknown, due to its low incidence and pathological variability. Owing to its rarity, MBC has been treated as a variant of Invasive Duct Carcinoma (IDC).
