Supramolecular Nanostructures for the Delivery of Peptides in Cancer Therapy.

Supramolecular nanostructured based delivery systems are emerging as a meaningful approach in the treatment of cancer, offering controlled drug release and improved therapeutic efficacy. The self-assembled structures can be small molecules, polymers, peptides, or proteins, which can be used and functionalized to achieve tailored release and target specific cells, tissues, or organs. These structures can improve the solubility and stability of drugs having low aqueous solubility by encapsulating and protecting them from degradation.

Patient's Knowledge and Perception of Endodontics Treatment: An Observational Study.

Objective: To assess public awareness regarding endodontic treatment and assess patients' knowledge regarding endodontic treatment.

Materials And Methods: A questionnaire was prepared and given to 300 patients who had visited the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics between November 2021 and October 2022, after obtaining ethical clearance and consent from all the participants. The questionnaire included sociodemographic details and about their knowledge about endodontic treatment.

Clinical, radiographic, and histological findings of chronic inflammatory periapical lesions - A clinical study.

Aim: The present study aimed at comparing clinical, radiographical, and histological findings in chronic periapical lesions such as cysts, granuloma, and abscess.

Methodology: The present study was conducted on 148 teeth having chronic inflammatory periapical lesions with or without nonsurgical endodontic treatment. Endodontic surgery was performed by single trained endodontist.

Status of free radicals and antioxidants in leprosy patients.

Oxidative stress is a condition associated with an increased rate of cellular damage induced by the oxygen derived oxidants commonly known as reactive oxygen species (ROS). ROS are capable of damaging cellular constituents generated in excess during the chronic, inflammatory, neurodegenerative disease process of leprosy. Severe oxidative stress has been reported in leprosy patients because of malnutrition and poor immunity.
