The plasma protein binding rate of warfarin, which is used to prevent and treat venous thromboembolism, is also high. Warfarin is a racemate of S-warfarin and R-warfarin, which are metabolized by CYP2C9 and CYP3A4, respectively.

We newly manufactured miso rich in angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory activity (Marukome MK-34-1, shinki miso) and investigated its antihypertensive properties in rat models of genetic hypertension.
