Background: Percutaneous transvenous mitral commissurotomy (PTMC) is a valid alternative to surgical therapy in selected patients with mitral stenosis. Juvenile mitral stenosis (JMS) varies uniquely from adult rheumatic heart disease (RHD). We aimed to evaluate the efficacy of PTMC in JMS patients.
