Introduction: The Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) is a functional movement assessment method to observe movement restrictions in individuals with known musculoskeletal disorders, although it has also been used to evaluate healthy athletes of different sports.

Aim: The present paper aimed to evaluate the applicability of SFMA in a clinical setting and to verify whether a student can correctly perform it.

Methods: An introductory and explanatory email was sent to the subjects, containing the instructions needed to produce a video with SFMA evaluation movements.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to find a predictive equation for estimating the optimal nasal endotracheal tube insertion depth in extremely low-birth weight infants (ELBWs) requiring invasive ventilation in the critical care interfacility transport setting.

Methods: We retrospectively calculated the optimal tube insertion depth in a cohort of neonates ≤ 1,000 g born at our neonatal intensive care unit and nasally intubated within the first 24 hours of life from January 2019 to May 2020.

Results: A total of 75 ELBW infants were included, with a median gestational age of 26.

Context: Meditation is proposed as an anti-stress practice lowering allostatic load and promoting well-being, with brief formats providing some of the benefits of longer interventions.

Objectives: PsychoNeuroEndocrinoImmunology-based meditation (PNEIMED) combines the teaching of philosophy and practice of Buddhist meditation with a grounding in human physiology from a systemic and integrative perspective. We evaluated the effects of four-day PNEIMED training (30 h) on subjective and objective indices of stress in healthy adults.

A search for new heavy particles manifested as resonances in two-jet final states is presented. The data were produced in 7 TeV proton-proton collisions by the LHC and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 315  nb⁻¹ collected by the ATLAS detector. No resonances were observed.

We tested 187 blood samples to measure Primidone and Phenobarbital plasma levels. 63 were on monotherapy, whereas 124 on polytherapy. We founded a good relationship between PRI dosage and PB plasma levels.

The results of a randomized, double blind clinical trial are described. Niaprazine (1.5 mg/kg/day) or placebo were administered for 1 month to 20 patients (17 M-3 F; age range 6-11 years) suffering from behaviour disorders.

We examined the haematic concentration of 5 HT in idiopathic headache in children. We observed plasma and platelet 5 HT concentration in 18 migrainous patients free from painful crisis, and we compared the results with a control group of 20 clinically healthy children. No significant variation was noted in plasma 5 HT concentration between the two groups.

The Authors have studied total urinary hydroxyproline (TUH), together with other hematochemical analyses, in 104 patients suffering from advanced breast cancer with or without bone metastases. TUH escretion is higher in patients with osseous lesions and, if simultaneous pathologic values of TUH and serum alcaline phosphatase occur, the presence of bone metastases is statistically even more probable. Moreover TUH seems to vary in accordance with the clinical response of the disease at osseous level in 46 patients treated with Medroxyprogesterone acetate (MPA) at high doses, showing itself as a possible marker of not negligible clinical value.

A first series of personal results in the treatment of arrhythmia with lorcainide is presented. Findings were obtained by recording for 24 hr with Holter and compared with those observed in patients treated with quinidine. An ECG study was also made of the atrial and nodal refractory periods.

The authors removed from Lacerta viridis specimens part of the dorsal hippocampus of one telencephalic hemisphere. The animals were sacrificed 110 and 260 days after the operation; 24 hours before the operation on the encephalon, each was dosed with 6--3H thymidine. An examination of the historadiographic slides showed a clear remedial process in the operated area which, 260 days after has renewed in thickness but was still minus its characteristic cellular layer.
