A high-resolution assessment of climate change impact on water footprints of cereal production in India.

Water footprint (WF), a comprehensive indicator of water resources appropriation, has evolved as an efficient tool to improve the management and sustainability of water resources. This study quantifies the blue and green WF of major cereals crops in India using high resolution soil and climatic datasets. A comprehensive modelling framework, consisting of Evapotranspiration based Irrigation Requirement (ETIR) tool, was developed for WF assessment.

Adenomatoid odontogenic tumour: An enigma.

Adenomatoid odontogenic tumour (AOT) is an uncommon, hamartomatous, benign epitheial lesion of odontogenic origin. The current World Health Organisation (WHO) classification of odontogenic tumors defines AOT as being composed of the odontogenic epithelium in a variety of histoarchitectural patterns, embedded in mature connective tissue stroma, and characterized by slow, but progressive growth. The aim of this paper is to present three rare cases of intraosseous AOTs with varied clinical and radiographic features imposing the fact that AOT should be included in differential diagnosis of routine odontogenic cysts and tumours.

Orofacial Manifestations of Autosomal Recessive Robinow's Syndrome: A Rare Case Report.

Robinow's syndrome is a very rare genetic disorder which bears a resemblance to a foetal face. It is characterized by short-limbed dwarfism, defects in vertebral segmentation and abnormalities in the head, face and external genitalia. It has a genetic heterogeneity with autosomal dominant and recessive forms which relates to the severity of phenotype presentation.

Topical use of citric acid for wound bed preparation.

Wound bed preparation is the management of a wound in order to accelerate endogenous healing or to facilitate the effectiveness of split-skin grafting. The formation of a healthy wound bed is a prerequisite to the use of advanced wound care products. Unless this is achieved, even the most sophisticated and expensive materials are unlikely to function correctly.

Five developmental anomalies in a single patient: a rare case report.

Developmental dental anomalies are marked deviations from the normal colour, contour, size, number, and the degree of the development of teeth. Local as well as systemic factors may be responsible for these developmental disturbances. Such influences may begin before or after birth and hence the deciduous or the permanent teeth may be affected.

Supernumerary teeth in non-syndromic patients.

Hyperdontia or supernumerary teeth without associated syndrome is a rare phenomenon, as supernumerary teeth are usually associated with cleft lip and palate or other syndromes such as Gardner's syndrome, cleidocranial dysplasia, and so on. Five patients with supernumerary teeth visited our department. They had no familial history or other pathology, certain treatment protocols was modified due to the presence of supernumerary teeth.
