There is limited scientific data on dengue virus (DENV) disease during the COVID-19 pandemic. Here, we conducted a community-based, cross-sectional, cluster-randomized survey to assess anti-DENV and anti-SARS-CoV-2 seroprevalence, and also estimated the spatial distribution of DENV-positive aedine mosquito vectors during the COVID-19 pandemic across all the 38 districts of Tamil Nadu, India.

Nevertheless, akin to many other diseases, reports indicated a decline in dengue incidence and seroprevalence during the COVID-19 pandemic (2020-22). This presumably could be attributed to reduced treatment-seeking rates, under-reporting, misdiagnosis, disrupted health services and reduced exposure to vectors due to lockdowns.

Objective: In India, usually, oral cancer is mostly identified at a progressive stage of malignancy. Hence, we are motivated to identify oral cancer in its early stages, which helps to increase the lifetime of the patient, but this early detection is also more challenging.
Methods: The proposed research work uses a probabilistic neural network (PNN) for the prediction of oral malignancy.

Objective: Lung cancer is one of the unsafe diseases for human which reduces the patient life time. Generally, most of the lung cancers are identified after it has been spread into the lung parts and moreover it is difficult to find the lung cancer at the early stage. It requires radiologist and special doctors to find the tumoral tissue of the lung cancer.

Its' morphological, biochemical and 16S rRNA analysis suggested that the bacterium belongs to AURCCBT01. This strain rapidly grew in the medium supplemented with alkanes C14, C18, C20, C28 and C32 utilizing them as a sole carbon source and produced a maximum canthaxanthin pigment of 971.

Background Interleukin-23 (IL-23), a key inflammatory regulator in the pathogenesis of psoriasis, is suspected to play a role in the onset of pulmonary dysfunction (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) in psoriasis. Despite that, pulmonary function tests are rarely studied in these subjects. This study aims to seek a possible relation between pulmonary function in psoriasis patients serum IL-23.

In recent years, excessive use of antibiotics has been raising its head to a serious problem all around the world, as pathogens become drug-resistant and create challenges to the medical field. This failure of the most potent antibiotics that kill pathogens increases the thirst for researchers to look for another way of killing pathogens. It has led to the findings of antimicrobial peptide, which are the most potent peptides to destroy pathogens.

The properties considered are calorific value, fuel ratio, ignitability index, ash compositions and ash fusion temperatures of the biomass. Six different temperatures (220, 240, 260, 280, 300 and 320 °C) at 60 min reaction time were considered.

Introduction: The determination of tumour extent is a major challenging task in brain tumour planning and quantitative evaluation. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is one of the non-invasive technique has emanated as a front- line diagnostic tool for brain tumour without ionizing radiation. Objective: Among brain tumours, gliomas are the most common aggressive, leading to a very short life expectancy in their highest grade.

Objective: Generally, lung cancer is the abnormal growth of cells that originates in one or both lungs. Finding the pulmonary nodule helps in the diagnosis of lung cancer in early stage and also increase the lifetime of the individual. Accurate segmentation of normal and abnormal portion in segmentation is challenging task in computer-aided diagnostics.

Cancer, a disease of cells, causes cell growth which differs from normal cell growth ratio, this cell growth spreads in the human body and kills the body cells. Breast cancer, it’s a highly heterogeneous disease and western women commonly witness this. Mammography, a pre-screening X-ray based check is used to diagnose woman’s breast cancer.

Generally the segmentation refers, the partitioning of an image into smaller regions to identify or locate the region of abnormality. Even though image segmentation is the challenging task in medical applications, due to contrary image, local observations of an image, noise image, non uniform texture of the images and so on. Many techniques are available for image segmentation, but still it requires to introduce an efficient, fast medical image segmentation methods.
