Objectives: The management of the facial nerve (FN) is a major issue in parotid cancer, especially when there is no preoperative facial palsy and FN invasion is discovered intraoperatively. The aim of this study was to assess the impact of FN resection in patients with parotid cancer abutting the FN, without pretreatment facial palsy, using a propensity score matching.
Materials And Methods: Data from all patients treated between 2009 and 2020 for a primary parotid cancer abutting or invading the FN but without pretreatment facial palsy were extracted from the national multicentric REFCOR database.

Calcified epithelial odontogenic tumor (CEOT) with extension to the maxillary, ethmoid and sphenoid sinuses is currently unreported. This extension poses a challenge for effective treatment, as CEOT is a benign neoplasm with contreversial potential aggressiveness. We report a case of CEOT that was previously misdiagnosed as an inverted papilloma.

Background: Among all studies describing COVID-19 clinical features during the first wave of the pandemic, only a few retrospective studies have assessed the correlation between olfac-tory dysfunction (OD) and the evolution of disease severity. The main aim was to assess whether OD is a predictive factor of COVID-19 severity based on the patient's medical management (outpa-tient care, standard hospital admission, and ICU admission).
Methods: A national, prospective, mul-ticenter cohort study was conducted in 20 public hospitals and a public center for COVID-19 screen-ing.
Objectives: To analyse prognostic factors and survival outcomes of malignant tumors of the external auditory canal, to investigate the role of regional surgery, and adjuvant radiotherapy in early stages and to investigate the role of surgery in operable T4 stage.
Setting: A retrospective analysis was conducted on all patients prospectively included in the national database of the French Expertize Network for Rare ENT Cancers (REFCOR) from January 2000 to December 2016.
Participants: 103 patients from 19 reference centers were included.

Objectives: Sinonasal undifferentiated carcinoma (SNUC) is a rare and aggressive disease requiring multimodal treatment, and multiple new entities once included in the spectrum of SNUC, such as SWI/SNF-deficient carcinomas, are emerging. We aimed to provide new data regarding the role of chemotherapy and surgery and the prognostic factors of disease-free survival.
Methods: This study was based on data from the REFCOR database and included patients with SNUC treated with curative intent from 2007 to 2021 across 22 centres in France.
Dose - volume histograms have been historically used to study the relationship between the planned radiation dose and healthy tissue damage. However, this approach considers neither spatial information nor heterogenous radiosensitivity within organs at risk, depending on the tissue. Recently, voxel-wise analyses have emerged in the literature as powerful tools to fully exploit three-dimensional information from the planned dose distribution.

The aim of this work was to analyse data from the national REFCOR multicenter cohort (i) to investigate the prognostic factors influencing survival outcomes in AciCC, (ii) to assess the impact on survival of postoperative radiotherapy (RT) in patients treated for AciCC without high-grade transformation and (iii) to explore the prognostic impact of prophylactic neck dissection (ND) in patients treated for AciCC of the major salivary glands.
Patients And Methods: Data from all the patients treated for salivary AciCC between 2009 and 2020 were extracted from the REFCOR database.
Only three laryngeal transplants have been described in the literature to date, and none of the techniques has enabled a completely satisfactory functional result to be obtained. This article presents a new model of laryngeal transplantation, with quality of revascularisation of the transplant being the principal objective and optimisation of the various steps of the procedure, with the integration of a new reinnervation technique as a secondary objective. We present a preclinical animal study.
