The kinetics of biological reactions depends on the deuterium/protium (D/H) ratio in water. In this work, we describe the kinetic model of biocatalytic reactions in living organisms depending on the D/H ratio. We show that a change in the lifetime or other characteristics of the vital activity of some organisms in response to a decrease or increase in the content of deuterium in the environment can be a sign of a difference in taxons.

The article defines reference values of particular markers of metabolism of bone tissue common to residents of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra. The elemental impurities contained in the composition of the pharmaceutical dose forms are known to be capable of interacting with their active substances and excipients and of catalyzing their degradation; thereby, they alter stability of the drug products and exert toxic effects on the human tissues. The present publication was designed to report the results of the purity tests for ascorbic acid, valine, and galactose substances by inductively-coupled plasma mass-spectrometry (IBP-MS). This method is recommended for use by the US and EU pharmacopoeias and for the replacement of the traditional test for heavy metals with the use of PbS ethanol suspension.

The article presents the analysis of data of "Study on Global AGEing and Adult Health, 2007-2010" (SAGE) concerning subjective judging of health, prevalence of ischemic heart disease under different levels of arterial pressure in similar age groups. An attempt is made to evaluate spectrum of pharmaceuticals applied in treatment of patients with arterial pressure in hospital at the level of oblast hospital. According official statistics of Minzdrav of Russia, in 20102 prevalence of diseases characterized by higher arterial pressure amounted to 10.

[The determination of amitriptyline and its metabolite, nortriptyline, in the biological objects of the corpse by the high-performance liquid chromatography technique].

Tricyclic antidepressants are among the preparations that most frequently cause intoxication in adults and children; moreover, poisoning with these substances not infrequently has a fatal outcome. Medications belonging to this group, such as amitriptyline, are extensively used to manage manifestations of depression, anxiety, migraine, neuropathic pain, and hyperactivity syndrome. Amitriptyline overdosage causes non-specific symptoms of intoxication, and its clinical picture does not allow to identify the nature of a psychotropic xenobiotic.

[The problems of expert evaluation of the results of forensic chemical investigations of clozapine in the biological material].

The objective of the present review was to analyse the problems of expert evaluation of the results of forensic chemical investigations of clozapine in the biological material. Such an analysis is needed because many topical aspects of the quantitative evaluation of toxic clozapine concentrations remain unclear. The treatment with clozapine is associated with its accumulation in blood in concentrations up to 2 mg/l in the absence of any toxic effect allegedly due to the development of tolerability of this agent.

[The seasonality of population contacts with medical organizations because of diseases of blood circulation system].

The comprehension of significance of health impacting of such unchangeable factors as climate and atmospheric phenomenons allows carrying out measures to decrease their negative effect on human health. The data of study implemented in Orel in 2009-2012 made it possible to distribute the annual totality of diagnoses registered in medical organizations on the groups of diseases of blood circulation system according ICD-10. The analysis established lower level of visits to physician because of these conditions both in ambulatory polyclinic institutions and hospital during summer period.

[The comparative evaluation of tendencies in population mortality and particular characteristics of hospitalization under diseases of blood circulation system].

The analysis of data bases established that in the Russian Federation population mortality of diseases of blood circulation system in toto and of main diseases included in this class (100-199 of ICD-10) is significantly higher than in European countries. The population mortality is determined both by morbidity and quality of medical care in case of development of disease. In Russia, the increase of number of cases of hospitalization per one patient passed away due to these causes.

[The physical development of children in Russia: the specification of means to evaluate and identify the problematic situation in process of growing and development of oncoming generation].

The article deals with issue of physical development of children as an important summarizing health parameter and indicator of social well-being of society. The organism development in child age determines the main traits of health of this generation in older age including potential longevity and transferring of corresponding qualities to future generations. The analysis is presented concerning accumulation of factual data and development of methodical instruments to evaluate physical development of children in Russia and other countries.

[The quantitative estimates of identification of diseases in medical institutions of different form of property and departmental belonging].

The results of analysis of actual situation in the field of medical care provision to population by medical institutions of different form of property and departmental belonging demonstrated that the percentage of additionally identified cases of pathology of blood circulation system comes up to 20% and more in certain territories. This occurrence mainly depends on organization of medical care of population in the field and development of medical institutions network outside the system of Minzdrav of Russia. It is needed to further elaborate the process of getting the data specifying the statistics of pathology propagation.

[The mean duration of stay in hospital of patients with pathology of circulatory system in Russia and particular European countries].

The comparative analysis of mean duration of stay in hospital of patients with pathology of circulatory system in the Russian Federation (form No 14 "The information about hospital activities in 2011") and particular European countries (data about main characteristics of functioning of hospitals in European countries from the information system "The Hospital morbidity Database (HMDB) January 2011") established the characteristics of structure of hospitalized patients of the mentioned class including differences in duration of stay of patients in hospital. The significant differentiation between countries exists concerning the indicators of mean duration of stay in hospital of patients with various diseases of circulatory system. At that, in the Russian Federation certain indicators of particular nosology forms are lower than corresponding indicators in foreign countries.

[The issues of assessment of medical support of patients with pathology of blood circulation system].

The analysis of report forms No 12 "The information about number of diseases registered in patients residing in the area of medical institution supports" and No14 "The information about functioning of hospital" demonstrated that in conditions of ambulatory policlinic institutions there is no active monitoring of patients with diseases of blood circulation system. These diseases are the major causes of population mortality.

[The problem of abortions and enhancement of analysis of reproductive behavior of women].

The article deals with the study of actual rate of abortions in Russia. It is established that multi-aspect statistical information is needed to compare with the data of international organizations. The regular monitoring is important to control the different characteristics of population reproductive behavior abortion prevalence and the all-inclusive participation in the reporting activity of all medical institutions involved independently of property forms and sectorial membership.

A mechanistic study of the photodegradation of herbicide 2,4,5-trichlorophenoxyacetic acid in aqueous solution.

Photodegradation of herbicide 2,4,5-trichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4,5-T) in aqueous solution was investigated by stationary (254 nm) and nanosecond laser (266 nm) flash photolysis techniques. It was shown that in the primary photochemical step both photoionization (which generates a hydrated electron-radical cation pair) and heterolytic cleavage of a C-Cl bond takes place. The major products of substitution of one of the chlorine atoms in the 2-, 4- or 5-position by a hydroxyl group as well as the products of hydroxylation of the benzene ring in 3- and 6-positions were identified by HPLC and LC-MS methods.

Despite showing that cardiovascular disease mortality in Russia is declining evaluation of medical care for cardiovascular patients, using different information sources, revealed a lot of problems in this field need it's solving. The amount of ions in the air was measured before and after the switch-on of the ionizer. It was shown to vary depending on the mode of operation of the device and differ from the recommended normal values.
