Background: In this report, we present results from studies of eribulin as monotherapy (Study 223) and in combination with irinotecan (the phase II part of Study 213) for patients with relapsed/refractory pediatric rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS), non-rhabdomyosarcoma soft tissue sarcoma (NRSTS), or Ewing sarcoma (EWS).
Patients And Methods: Studies 223 and 213 were phase II multicenter trials that enrolled pediatric patients with histologically confirmed disease. Treatment comprised 21-day cycles of eribulin mesylate 1.

Study Design: A prospective longitudinal observational cohort study.
Cohort Selection: The data analyzed were derived from a comprehensive observational study on BRISA prenatal cohort conducted in São Luís City, Brazil, between 2010 and 2013. A convenience sample included pregnant women recruited from both public and private prenatal health services in the city.
Study Design: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
Objective: To evaluate and compare stability and functionality between narrow and standard implant-retained mandibular overdentures in edentulous patients from multiple perspectives. Assessments included clinical parameters [survival rate (SR) and marginal bone loss (MBL)], along with patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) including patient satisfaction and oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL).
Study Design: A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial.
Objective: To assess the impact of antibiotic prophylaxis on postoperative recovery and implant short-term survival in clinically healthy patients who underwent placement of 2-4 dental implants by inexperienced operators.
Methods: The study adhered to the ethical guidelines of the Helsinki declaration, and followed the CONSORT protocol for randomized controlled trials (RCTs).
Lenvatinib is a receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) inhibitor targeting vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) receptors 1-3, fibroblast growth factor (FGF) receptors 1-4, platelet-derived growth factor receptor-α (PDGFRα), KIT, and RET that have been implicated in pathogenic angiogenesis, tumor growth, and cancer. The primary objective of this work was to evaluate, by establishing quantitative relationships, whether lenvatinib exposure and longitudinal serum biomarker data (VEGF, Ang-2, Tie-2, and FGF-23) are predictors for change in longitudinal tumor size which was assessed based on data from 558 patients with radioiodine-refractory differentiated thyroid cancer (RR-DTC) receiving either lenvatinib or placebo treatment. Lenvatinib PK was best described by a 3-compartment model with simultaneous first- and zero-order absorption and linear elimination from the central compartment with significant covariates (body weight, albumin <30 g/dL, ALP>ULN, RR-DTC, RCC, HCC subjects, and concomitant CYP3A inhibitors).

Objective: To assess the effect of smoking traditional cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and heated tobacco products (HTPs) on the levels of specific sphingolipids (sphingosine, sphinganine, and sphingosine-1-phosphate), various ceramides, and lipid peroxidation products [malondialdehyde (MDA) and 4-hydroxynonenal (4-HNE)] in both unstimulated and stimulated saliva samples collected from healthy young adults who had been smoking for 1-3 years and used only 1 of the 3 nicotine delivering methods.
Methods: Selection criteria included healthy young adults under 30 years old, with normal BMI and typical diet composition, and with no oral inflammatory lesions, orthodontic/dental appliances, or recent intake of medications or supplements.

This assumption, which is commonly used today for the simulation of membrane gas separations, has to be reconsidered when high-performance materials, showing a very high permeance and/or selectivity, are used. In this study, a series of steady-state separation performances experimentally obtained on CO/CH mixtures with a zeolite membrane are compared to the predictions of a dedicated 1D approach, recently derived and validated through CFD simulations.

Objective: To assess the effect of feedback on motivation for smoking cessation using oral-malodor measurements.
Methods: At baseline, the participants attended a brief video presentation regarding various oral health-specific effects of smoking, joined a group introduction to smoking-cessation aids, and were given questionnaires that inquired information about smoking status including type, daily consumption, and duration.
Design: A prospective, parallel-arm, age- and gender-matched clinical study.
Objective: To assess and compare palatal wound healing of orally and systemically healthy e-cigarette users with a matched group of non-vapers.
Methods: Included were healthy adult volunteers (18-50 years), either e-cigarette users or never smokers, who agreed to use a study-specific e-cigarette device and e-liquids, and were willing to provide consent from.
Design: A retrospective cohort study involved patients who received at least one implant-supported restoration at a university dental clinic between 2001 and 2013. Patients were randomly selected from an electronic database, and their recruitment via telephone contact spanned from February 2021 until July 2021.
Main Objective: To investigate the association of smoking and its cessation with the risk of peri-implant mucositis and peri-implantitis in a cohort of implant-treated patients.

Background: Psychosis is known to have an adverse impact on an individual's quality of life, social and occupational functioning. A lack of treatment options for psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia contributes to adverse outcomes for individuals. A significant proportion of people with psychosis consult both formal and traditional routes of care.

However, in Saudi Arabia, patient satisfaction after surgical management for AIS has not been thoroughly studied. The purpose of this study was to determine patient satisfaction and quality of life using the Scoliosis Research Society-22r (SRS-22r, the most recent version) questionnaire after surgical correction of AIS in Saudi Arabia.

Lemborexant is a novel orexin receptor antagonist approved in the United States and Japan for the treatment of insomnia. This article describes the population pharmacokinetics (PK) of lemborexant and the relationship of its daily steady-state exposure (C ) to the probability of most frequent treatment-emergent adverse events (TEAEs). The 12 230-observation, 1892-subject PK data set included data from 12 clinical studies with predominantly female subjects (66%) ranging in age from 18 to 88 years and from 37 to 168 kg in body weight.
