We present a case report of colorectal cancer arising in a young patient with ulcerative colitis of only 6 years duration. The pathology was unusual with extensive pancolonic involvement in a lintitis plastica fashion. This case represents a clinical example where colon cancer occurred prior to the onset of recommended screening according to guidelines regarding patients with ulcerative colitis.

Glucagon-like peptide-2 (GLP-2) secreted from enteroendocrine cells exerts proabsorptive, regenerative, and cytoprotective actions in the normal and injured gut epithelium. Hence, sustained GLP-2 receptor (GLP-2R) activation represents a strategy under investigation for the prevention and treatment of chemotherapy-induced mucositis. Isolated cardiac metastasis from a primary liposarcoma of noncardiac origin is a rare occurrence.
