Unlabelled: The practice of excision in girls poses a significant risk to their health. The objective of this study was to determine the immediate acute complications associated with this practice.
Patients And Methods: This was a retrospective descriptive study over a period of 15 months including all girls aged 0-15 years hospitalized for acute complications related to excision within 7 days of the practice in the pediatric department of the University Hospital Gabriel Toure.

Method: A two-round Delphi procedure was carried out through online surveys of 465 individuals from 18 Latin American countries, including core outcome set developers, researchers, health professionals, users of healthcare services, journal editors, members of nongovernmental organizations, and policymakers. The questionnaire, in Spanish and Portuguese, rated 101 variables according to their relevance to the efficacy and effectiveness of brief interventions.
Introduction: Early neonatal bacterial infection (ENBI) is a major concern in neonatology. In Mali, no study had addressed this aspect, hence the initiation of this work to study the epidemiological-clinical, biological and bacteriological profile of ENBI.
Materials And Methods: This was a descriptive longitudinal study that took place from june 27 to september 3, 2016 involving newborns aged ≤ 72 hours hospitalized for ENBI confirmed by blood culture in the neonatology service of the pediatrics department of the Center Hospitalier et Universitaire (CHU) Gabriel Toure in Bamako.
Unlabelled: Malnutrition among children under five is a major public health problem in low-income countries, and contributes significantly to mortality in this age group. The purpose of this work was to evaluate the epidemiological and clinical profile of malnourished children at the Nara hospital in north of Mali.
Method: It was a retrospective and descriptive study, from 01/01/2016 to 31/12/2016.
A study was conducted between 1993 and 1996 in Bamako to determine the rate of occurrence of microsporidia in 88 patients. Most (80%) had chronic diarrhea associated with weight loss and 87.5% were HIV-positive.
