An Unusual Presentation of Synchronous Breast Cancer and Skin Malignancy in a Patient with Lynch Syndrome: A Case Report and Review of the Literature.

Background: Lynch syndrome is an autosomal dominant condition that leads to an increased risk of many neoplasms. In the United Kingdom, NICE recommends that patients with colorectal and endometrial cancer should be tested for Lynch syndrome. There is conflicting evidence in the literature on the link between breast cancer and Lynch syndrome.

Tall Cell Carcinoma with Reversed Polarity: Case Report of a Rare Special Type of Breast Cancer and Review of the Literature.

Tall cell carcinoma of the breast with reversed polarity (TCCRP) is a rare type of invasive breast cancer with overlapping features with papillary thyroid carcinoma and a characteristic molecular profile. Few cases have been reported in the literature since the first case was described in 2003. We present the case of a 41-year-old female with a symptomatic left breast lump.

Radiation-Associated Primary Osteosarcoma of the Breast.

Introduction: Non-epithelial primary mammary osteosarcomas are extremely rare. The differentials include metaplastic carcinoma and malignant phyllodes tumour. This is the first published case of primary breast osteosarcoma arising after local radiotherapy.

Unusual Presentation of Mammary Calciphylaxis in a Patient on Long-Standing Renal Dialysis.

Introduction: Calciphylaxis is a condition which involves ectopic deposition of calcium in arterioles of various organ systems. Here, we present a rare case of mammographic calcifications in a patient on long-standing renal dialysis.

Case: This is a 57-year-old female who presented to breast clinic with unilateral severe pain and lumpiness of her breast.

Hypertrophic Herpes Simplex With Subsequent Development of Plasma Cell Vulvitis: A Potential Diagnostic Pitfall.

A 37-yr-old patient previously diagnosed with human immunodeficiency virus initially presented with a genital lesion which upon histologic assessment was diagnosed as a pseudotumor associated with herpes simplex virus infection. The pseudotumor responded to initial treatment with Acyclovir, however, the lesion recurred 2 yr later and was diagnosed as plasma cell vulvitis. We discuss the clinical presentation, diagnostic work up and treatment options of such a rare lesion.

Metaplastic Breast Cancer Masquerading as Liposarcoma of the Breast: A Case Report following Oncoplastic Treatment.

Mammary liposarcoma is among the rarest of breast tumours. Here we report the presentation, macroscopic, microscopic, and immunohistochemical features of an extremely rare case of metaplastic carcinoma with extensive pleomorphic liposarcomatous differentiation. A 47-year-old woman presented with bilateral grade III breast ptosis and a 3 × 4 cm mass in the lower outer quadrant of the left breast.
