Unlabelled: Skin toxicity is the most common adverse event of treatment with immune check point inhibitors. Among them, erythema multiforme is a rare occurrence with a frequency of 4%, with most of the cases developing grade 1/2 disease. We experienced high grade erythema multiforme major developing with pembrolizumab treatment for anal canal cancer with extensive skin metastases.

Background: Bullous pemphigoid (BP) is an autoimmune bullous disease in which abundant eosinophils accumulate in the blisters. Galectin-10 abounds in the cytoplasm of eosinophils and is released as a result of eosinophil extracellular trap cell death (EETosis).

Objective: To identify EETosis and the pathological roles of galectin-10 in BP.

Adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) is an infiltrating carcinoma composed of 2 cell types, myoepithelial and ductoglandular epithelial cells. Although approximately 70% of ACC exhibit translocations of the MYB proto-oncogene or MYB proto-oncogene like 1 (MYBL1), expression of MYB is known to be limited in myoepithelial cells. We investigated the histopathologic and genetic characteristics of ACC in 6 primary cutaneous cases.

Sox13, a group D member of the Sry-related high-mobility group box (Sox) transcription factor family, is expressed in various tissues including the hair follicle. However, its spatiotemporal expression patterns in the hair follicle and its role in hair development remain to be elucidated. To address these questions, we generated Sox13-LacZ-knock-in mice (Sox13), in which the LacZ reporter gene was inserted in-frame into exon 2, which contains the translation initiation codon.
