Osteoporosis among Bahraini Citizens: The First Report.

Background And Objective: Osteoporosis and its complications are increasing as the population is aging world over. Every country needs an initial assessment of prevalence to take appropriate steps in limiting the complications of osteoporosis. The objective of this study was to find the prevalence of osteoporosis in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Imaging of spondyloarthropathies.

Spondyloarthropathies (SpA) are a group of disorders that primarily affect the synovial joints of the axial and appendicular skeleton of variable predilections. Plain radiography is the initial and standard method of investigation in axial SpAs. Careful evaluation of the radiographs through developing a systematic approach is indispensible in reaching the correct diagnosis.
