With the advancement of biotechnology in the marine industry, an increasing utilization of marine ingredients in skincare products has been observed in recent years. Encapsulating Artemia franciscana extract and its derivatives in a novel phospholipid vesicle called hyalurosome presents innovative strategies for drug delivery systems and anti-aging products. In this study, we developed nano hyalurosomes containing Artemia franciscana active components.

Background: Urea with super-hydrating and moisturizing properties is mainly used as an adjunctive treatment of diseases associated with dry skin. In this regard, the recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH) with rejuvenating properties is used as a base material in beauty creams. Although urea easily passes through the skin, the epidermal skin barrier restricts the passage of hGH due to its size.

This study describes the hyaluronic acid (HA) production by ATCC 43079, and the effect of the hyaluronidase enzyme on HA levels. The hyaluronidase production, glucose consumption, and lactate formation were recorded during fermentation. The HA production, and productivity at different amounts of glucose, yeast extract and pH were evaluated by response surface statistical approach in presence of 6-O-palmytoil--ascorbic acid as a chemical inhibitor for biocatalyst hyaluronidase.

Objective: The use and commercial value of hyaluronic acid (HA) as an important element in the pharmaceutical, biomedical, and cosmetics industry is because of its purity. Four recombinant strains of Corynebacterium glutamicum containing different genes were used to produce HA.

Results: The production parameters were measured and strain 183.

Screening for probiotic characteristics is usually associated with a series of assays and a large number of isolates to be tested, which can be sometimes costly and frustrating. For this reason, finding some indicators to predict the probiotic potential would be of great significance. In this study, 10 Lactobacillus strains including L.

Pharmaceutical molecules such as peptides and proteins are usually injected into the body. Numerous efforts have been made to find new noninvasive ways to administer these peptides. In this study, highly flexible vesicles (transfersomes [TFs]) were designed as a new modern transdermal drug delivery system for systemic drug administration through the skin, which had also been evaluated in vitro.
