Background: Application of plant derivatives have been suggested as alternative sources for mosquito control.
Methods: The root essential oil and methanol extract of Cionura erecta (L.) Griseb was tested under laboratory conditions for larvicidal and skin repelleny activities against Anopheles stephensi.
