Placement of a self-expandable metallic stent (SEMS) is recognized as a safe and effective procedure for patients with malignant severe colonic stenosis. However, reports of this stent for right-sided colonic stenosis are limited, possibly as a result of technical difficulties. We report a new method for delivering SEMS to the site of right-sided colonic stenosis in four patients with malignant right-sided colonic stenosis.
