Introduction: Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a frequent complication after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), with reported incidences ranging from 20-70% within the first 100 days post-transplant. AKI can adversely impact outcomes and survival in this patient population.
Methods: This retrospective study evaluated 110 pediatric patients who underwent HSCT at Mofid Children's Hospital, affiliated with Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran, between 2016-2021.

Background: Elevated level of double-negative T (DNT) cells is a historical hallmark of autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome (ALPS) diagnosis. However, the peripheral blood level of DNT cells might also be compromised in autoimmune lymphoproliferative immunodeficiencies (ALPID) other than ALPS, inattention to which would increase the delay in diagnosis of the underlying genetic defect and hinder disease-specific treatment.
Materials And Methods: This cross-sectional study recruited patients suffering from ALPID (exclusion of ALPS) with established genetic diagnosis.

Objective: We sought to perform a systematic review of the genetic, immunologic, and clinical findings for reported patients with MSMD.
Methods: We searched PubMed, Web of Science, and Scopus databases for publications in English relating to MSMD.
Human inborn errors of immunity (IEIs), previously referred to as primary immunodeficiency disorders (PIDs), are a heterogeneous spectrum of inherited abnormalities of the immune system with different organ involvement. The number of identified IEIs is rapidly increasing, highlighting the non-negligible role of an interdisciplinary approach in clinical diagnosis. Kidney disorders are one of the important comorbidities in some of the affected patients and play a significant role in the diagnosis and course of disease.

Background: Autoimmunity can be the first or predominant manifestation in patients with primary immunodeficiency disorder, also known as inborn errors of immunity (IEI). This study aims to evaluate the immune status of pediatric patients with polyautoimmunity to identify those with underlying immune defects.
Methods: In this cross-sectional study, pediatric patients with polyautoimmunity including at least one confirmed autoimmune endocrine disease were enrolled.
Background: Post-infectious glomerulonephritis (PIGN) is one of the most common causes of pediatric acute glomerulonephritis. Immune system dysregulation manifesting as food allergy may predispose PIGN patients to nephrotic-range proteinuria.
Case Presentation: The patient was a 3-year-old male that presented with edema, gross hematuria and reduced urine output following a mild fever, rhinorrhea and lethargy.
Key Clinical Message: Most children with nephrotic syndrome heal without any sequelae. However, rare life-threatening complications such as thromboembolism may occur in pediatric nephrotic syndrome and should be considered in those with a new-onset neurologic deficit.
