In this study, we aimed to validate the Rapid Interactive Screening Test for Autism in Toddlers (RITA-T) in a group of Turkish children and found that the RITA-T which has been shown to be a valid and reliable screening test for 18- to 36-month-old children in studies conducted in different countries, is also valid in Turkish children. Similar to previous studies, our results showed that the RITA-T has good sensitivity and specificity in distinguishing children with autism spectrum disorder.

Methods: Exploratory factor analysis was used to test the construct validity. Reliability was measured using item-total score correlation, internal consistency (Cronbach α coefficient), Cronbach α if the item was deleted, and test-retest correlation.
Objective: The aim of this study was to demonstrate the validity and reliability of the WFIRS-S-TR, Turkish version of the Weiss Functional Impairment Rating Scale-Self Report form.
Method: The study comprised two groups of participants of 15-18 years of age, one consisting of 35 children diagnosed with attention deficit and hyperativity disorder (ADHD) based on the DSM-IV criteria and the other, 510 healthy volunteers attending high school. Apart from the WFIRS-S-TR, the Health Questionnaire for Children and Adolescents (KIDSCREEN-10 Index) which is a general quality of life and functionality measurement instrument, was used to check the concurrent validity of the WFIRS-S-TR.
Background: In this study, eating behaviors and alexithymia levels in obese adolescents were investigated. Relationships between alexithymia, eating behavior and insulin resistance were studied.

Objective: In this study, we aimed to evaluate the diagnoses of the infants who were admitted to our outpatient clinic with the complaint of pulling on the ear and to identify the related factors which may contribute to the diagnosis.
Methods: This prospective study included a total of 102 infants who were admitted to our hospital with the complaint of tugging and pulling on, touching, and rubbing the ears on the shoulder or pillow and shaking the head between July 2016 and July 2017. The complaints were evaluated throughout the day, and the application seasons, the person referred the patient to the ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist, the child development specialist and child psychiatrist, allergy and atopy histories, and the relationship between the results and diagnoses were evaluated.

Method: Fifty-three medication-free children with ADHD, aged 6-12 years, and 38 healthy children, age and sex matched, participated. Introduction: The mechanism of ubiquitination-related abnormalities causing neural development problems is still unclear. We examined the association between autism and serum transactive response DNA-binding protein-43 (TDP-43) and ubiquitin c-terminal hydrolase-L1 (UCH-L1) levels, both of which are members of the ubiquitin-proteosome system.
Methods: We measured serum levels of TDP-43 and UCH-L1 in 24 children with autism and 24 healthy children.
