Acromioclavicular joint cyst presenting with findings concerning for a soft tissue tumor - a case report.

Case: We present the case of a 73-year-old female with an acromioclavicular joint cyst associated with atypical, exquisite, progressive pain, and imaging findings concerning for neoplastic etiology. She underwent en bloc resection of the trapezium containing this cystic mass and distal clavicle. Surgical pathology demonstrated findings consistent with a large ganglion cyst without evidence of malignancy.

Pill aspiration is a significant source of foreign body aspiration in the United States and can occur without swallowing dysfunction or illness. Consequences depend on various factors, such as the pill's chemical composition, size, and diagnostic delay. Aspiration of iron tablets poses a higher risk because of hydroxyl radical formation and subsequent caustic burns, inflammation, obstruction, and/or necrosis.

Generalized Eosinophilia Following Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine Administration: A Case Report.

Delayed Erosion of Peritoneal Dialysis Catheter Tip into the Small Bowel.

Catheter erosion into the small bowel is an uncommonly reported complication of continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). This can result in peritonitis, sepsis, fistula formation, and mortality. We report a 29-year-old female with end-stage renal disease presenting with nausea, profuse diarrhea immediately after dialysate instillation, change in color and odor of the dialysis output, and pain at the site of her peritoneal dialysis (PD) catheter.

Large Bowel Obstruction in the Setting of Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma.

Large bowel obstruction (LBO) is a potential surgical emergency, commonly caused by colorectal carcinoma, diverticular stricture, and volvulus. LBO secondary to chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) is a rare occurrence. We report an 81-year-old man with a history of CLL/SLL who presented to the emergency department with episodes of abdominal cramps and discomfort, diarrhea, vomiting, subjective flushes, and sweats.
