Photodiagnosis Photodyn Ther
March 2019
Background: Some materials such as TiO display a luminescence property when exposed to X-ray radiation. Therefore, a proper photosensitizer can induce photodynamic effects by absorbing the emitted photons from these materials during radiotherapy. In this way, the problem of limited photo- penetration depth in photodynamic therapy is resolved.

B is a water-soluble vitamin (vit) that is reported to attenuate neuronal degeneration. The goal of the present study is to investigate the effect of vitamin B on METH's neurodegenerative changes.

Objective: In this study, new compounds of 1,4-dihydropyridine (DHP) were recommended as inhibitors of P-gp.
Methods: We synthesized new symmetrical DHP with 36% - 43% yield by the reaction of new reactants.
Objectives: The increasing use of methamphetamine (METH) in the last decades has made it the second most abused drug. Advancs in the area of intravenous lipid emulsion (ILE) have led to its potential application in the treatment of poisoning. The present study aims to investigate the potential role of ILE as an antidote for acute METH poisoning.

To solve this problem, photosensitizers are conjugated to X-ray luminescent nanoparticles. When the complexes are stimulated by X-rays during radiotherapy, the nanoparticles generate light and activate the photosensitizers.

Diblock copolymers of PEG-polyester can form different structures such as micelles, polymersome, capsules or micro-container in an aqueous environment according to the length of their blocks.
Materials And Methods: Herein, a series of poly (lactic acid) (PLA) and PEG diblock copolymers were synthesized through the ring-opening polymerization.
In the present work a series of tramadole imprinted micro- and nanoparticles were prepared and study their recognition properties. Methacrylic acid (MAA), as a functional monomer, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) as a cross-linker and different solvents (chloroform, toluene and acetonitrile (ACN)) were used for the preparation of molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) and non-imprinted polymers (NIPs). Several factors such as template/monomer molar ratio, volume of polymerization solvent, total monomers/solvent volume ratio, polymerization condition (heating or microwave irradiation) were also investigated.

There has been considerable interest in exploring KATP channel openers in the treatment of various diseases such as cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, and urinary system disease and premature labor. The purpose of this study was to synthesize 3,3,6,6-tetramethy l-9-aryl-octahydro-1,8-acridindiones and investigate their effects on vascular potassium channels and mechanism of induced relaxations on phenylephrine-induced contractile responses in isolated rings of rat aortic smooth muscle.

Derivatives of 1, 4-dihydropyridine are one of the most potent calcium antagonists. In this study four novel 1, 4-dihydropyridine calcium channel blockers were synthesized and their hypotensive properties were investigated in male rats.
