Photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy is a continuously growing approach to stimulating healing and reducing inflammation and pain. However, its effects in the fields of regenerative medicine and tissue engineering are still under investigation. Studying PBM effects on the regenerative capacity of zebrafish can allow the application of novel clinical approaches where the impact of PBM will be cross-linked with the stem-cell therapeutic approaches.

Objectives: To propose a new flap design that utilize a minimally invasive approach to move implants. We also propose a 3D method to track changes in implant position without the need for CBCT.

Materials And Methods: Implants were inserted in two mongrel dogs then a minimally invasive tunnel like flap was made.

There is a lack of evidence-based reviews on the effects of laser irradiation on blood coagulation in the literature, despite a large number of clinical trials. We therefore evaluated the available evidence on laser irradiation parameters used in coagulation of blood to optimize physical parameters. We performed a literature search for recent scientific studies indexed between 2017 and 2023 using the databases of PubMed and ScienceDirect.

Introduction: This review summarizes the available recent literature on different mechanisms and parameters of pulsed ultrasound (US) that have been used during orthodontic treatments to prevent and repair root resorption.

Areas Covered: A literature search was conducted between January (2002) and September (2022) in the following databases: PubMed, Google-Scholar, Embase, and The-Cochrane-Library. After exclusions, a total of 19 papers were included in the present review.

Objective: Developing a safe and accurate surgical technique that offers higher patient satisfaction will be a great improvement in the field of oral implantology. This study was to investigate the effect of Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) on pain and swelling after flapless computer guided implant site preparation utilizing a novel surgical guide designed to be used with piezotome.

Methods: A total of thirty patients were enrolled in this study having history of bilateral extractions in the lower molar area not less than 6 months ago.

Background: With the growing stress on hospitals caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for home-based solutions has become a necessity to support these overwhelmed hospitals.

Objective: The goal of this study was to compare two nonpharmacological respiratory treatment methods for home-isolated COVID-19 patients using a newly developed telemanagement health care system.

Methods: In this single-blinded randomized clinical trial, 60 patients with stage 1 pneumonia caused by SARS-CoV-2 infection were treated.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a progressive common autoimmune disorder and is one of the most functional limiting diseases in elderly. Until recently, its treatment is mainly based on physical locations and meetings while being face to face. However, laser acupuncture tele-therapy approaches can significantly provide the patient with safety during the COVID-19 pandemic as well as changing the disorder's prognosis.

Background/purpose: Dental implants insertion can be a major factor in stress and anxiety. The aim was to evaluate the paracetamol ability to lower stress and anxiety when compared with ibuprofen during and after computer guided implant surgery utilizing CAD/CAM surgical template and a computer vision system for assessment.

Materials And Methods: Thirty patients were enrolled in a crossover study design having bilateral missing lower molars.

Background: Artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Intelligent Things (IIoT) are promising technologies to prevent the concerningly rapid spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and to maximize safety during the pandemic. With the exponential increase in the number of COVID-19 patients, it is highly possible that physicians and health care workers will not be able to treat all cases. Thus, computer scientists can contribute to the fight against COVID-19 by introducing more intelligent solutions to achieve rapid control of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), the virus that causes the disease.

The purposes of this study are to determine and compare efficacy of laser acupuncture versus reflexology in elderly with rheumatoid arthritis. Thirty elderly patients with rheumatoid arthritis aged between 60 and 70 years were classified into two groups, 15 patients each. Group A received laser acupuncture therapy (904 nm, beam area of 1cm, power 100 mW, power density 100 mW/cm, energy dosage 4 J, energy density 4 J/cm, irradiation time 40 s, and frequency 100,000 Hz).
