Thermodynamic and kinetic parameters, such as enthalpy, entropy, and free energy, are crucial in evaluating enzyme stability and activity. These parameters, including the free energy of activation (ΔG) and the Gibbs free energy of inactivation (ΔG*), are important for predicting energy requirements and reaction rates. However, relying solely on these parameters is insufficient in selecting an enzyme for industrial processes.

Background: Clostridium perfringens (C. perfringens) is a serious anaerobic enteric pathogen causing necrotic enteritis (NE) in broiler chickens. Metastatic Leiomyosarcoma Originating in the Thigh Skeletal Muscle of a Larry Breed Hen.

Leiomyosarcoma is a malignant tumor arising from the smooth muscle of any soft tissue. Occurrence of this tumor in the skeletal muscles is rare. A 6-year-old Larry hen was examined because of lameness in one leg.

Clinical and pathological findings of concurrent poxvirus lesions and aspergillosis infection in canaries.

Objective: To investigate clinical, pathological and mycological findings in canaries, in which pox lesions and Aspergillus fumigatus (A. fumigatus) infection were observed simultaneously.

Methods: This study was performed on a breeding colony (about 100 canaries) affected by fatal wasting disease.
