Background: There is paucity of data on the prevalence of novel and traditional cardiovascular risk factors in young women with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) in the Middle East. We sought to evaluate clinical profiles and prevalence of novel and traditional risk factors in Middle Eastern young women with ASCVD compared with age-matched controls.
Methods: Women 18-50 years of age who have ASCVD were enrolled and each was aged-matched with two women with no ASCVD.
Background: Access to affordable and clean energy is an essential component of the Sustainable Development Goals and a determinant of physical and mental health. However, the occupied Palestinian territory, the Gaza Strip, has experienced prolonged issues with electricity, water and gas supplies. This has significantly impacted on daily life and the area is on the verge of disaster.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the frequency and types of tremors in patients with relapsing remitting MS (RRMS) in remission, and their impact on patients' QoL.
Methods: A total of 250 patients with RRMS in remission were examined for tremors.
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the second leading cause of cancer-related mortality in developing countries. Tripartite motif-59 (TRIM59) a member of the TRIM ubiquitin ligase family, is a surface molecule that regulates biological processes such as cell proliferation, apoptosis, and tumorigenesis. Previous studies reported that TRIM59 expression was upregulated in human CRC, however, the expression pattern and role of TRIM59 in benign colorectal lesions remain unclear.

Study Design: A literature search was conducted on SCOPUS, PUBMED, COCHRANE, MEDLINE, and WEB OF SCIENCE databases. All comparative studies that assess outcomes of systematic lymphadenectomy in patients with ovarian cancer were eligible.
Objective: This study aimed to report the severity of COVID-19 in a cohort of Egyptian patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) with particular attention on the impact of disease modifying drugs (DMDs).
Methods And Study Population: We included 119 MS patients recruited from two centers, Ain-Shams university and Cairo university with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 during the period from May to September 2020 as a part of the MuSC-19 project. Univariate logistic regression was fitted to assess risk factors for severe COVID-19 (at least one outcome among hospitalization, ICU admission and death).
Background: Despite developments in nanotechnology for use in the pharmaceutical field, there is still a need for implementation of this technology in agrochemistry. In this study, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were successfully prepared by a facile and an eco-friendly route using two different ligands, 2'-amino-1,1':4',1″-terphenyl-3,3″,5,5″-tetracarboxylic acid (HL) and 1,3,6,8-tetrakis (p-benzoic acid)-pyrene (TBAPy), as reducing agents. The physiochemical properties of the as-obtained AgNPs were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).

Aim Of The Study: The aim of the study was to assess the PCFS and to evaluate if age, gender, smoking, hospitalization, and comorbidities have any effect on functional limitations in recovered COVID-19 patients.
In late 2019, a new virulent coronavirus (CoV) emerged in Wuhan, China and was named as severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). This virus spread rapidly, causing the coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) is a live attenuated tuberculosis (TB) vaccine, associated with induction of non-specific cross-protection against unrelated infections.

Methods: PAS-ID is a multicenter study that included 11 centers from 9 countries. Women with PAS, who were managed between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2019, were retrospectively included.
Colorectal cancer is considered to be one of the major causes of morbidity and mortality all over the world. T Follicular helper (T) and T follicular regulatory (T) cells are specialized providers of T-cells to help B-cells and shaping germinal centers (GC) response. Recent researches reported a high percentage of T and T in different infectious diseases and certain malignancies.

Methods: A total of 1833 patients retrospectively investigated and divided into two groups: Group A - PD patients ( = 319) and Group B - non-PD patients ( = 1303). The two groups were fully evaluated for diabetes mellitus (DM) with the glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), hypertension (HTN), dyslipidemia (DL), obesity by measuring body mass index, total testosterone (T), penile vascular circulation measuring Peak systolic velocity (PSV) as indicator of arterial supply, end-diastolic velocity (EDV) as indicator of venous output, and finally, smoking.
Introduction: Despite the high satisfaction with penile implant (PI) surgery reported in the literature, a significant proportion of patients remain dissatisfied.
Aim: To evaluate satisfaction after PI surgery, using a single question and a scoring system. Furthermore, we attempted to define factors that predicted high patient satisfaction.
Background: The inflatable penile prosthesis (IPP) is typically the preferred implant for Peyronie's disease (PD) and malleable penile prostheses (MPPs) have been discouraged.
Aims: To evaluate the effectiveness and patient satisfaction of the MPP vs IPP in patients with PD.
Methods: Men with PD and erectile dysfunction who elected for penile implant surgery constituted the study population.
Accurate data regarding the size of the erect penis is of great importance to several disciplines working with male patients, but little data exists on the best technique to measure penile length. While some previous small studies have suggested good correlation between stretched penile length, others have shown significant variability. Penile girth has been less well studied, and little data exist on the possible errors induced by differing observers and different techniques.

Patients And Methods: We conducted a multicentre prospective study including all patients undergoing penile implant surgery between 2009 and 2015. Preoperative, perioperative and postoperative management were identical for the entire cohort.
Recently, layered chalcogenide alloys (LCAs) have been extensively investigated for use in various practical applications by selectively controlling the amount of foreign components. However, the alloying behavior of layered chalcogenides has been rarely explored at the atomistic level. Here, we study the microstructural evolution of SnSeS alloys on the atomic scale by combining scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) measurements with first-principles density functional theory (DFT) calculations.

Aim: To investigate the success rate and predictive factors affecting the outcome of CT in PI infection patients.
Introduction: Many men seek penile augmentation treatments-a standard tool for their counseling is to inform them of what is "normal." Although some studies suggest good correlation between stretched and erect penile length, those that have measured stretched and erect length simultaneously have shown significant variability.
Aim: To assess the accuracy of differing penile measurements with multiple observers.
Introduction: Accurate data regarding the size of the erect penis are of great importance to several disciplines working with male patients, but little high-quality research exists on the subject, particularly in different ethnic groups and for erect penis size.
Aim: The aim of this study was to create a nomogram of erect penile dimensions in a large sample of Middle Eastern men.
Methods: A retrospective cohort study of 778 men (mean age 43.
Background: Shoulder pain is a common clinical problem, and numerous tests are used to diagnose structural pathology.
Objectives: To systematically review the reliability of physical examination procedures used in the clinical examination of patients with shoulder pain.
Data Sources: MEDLINE, PEDro, AMED, PsychInfo, Cochrane Library (2009) and CINAHL were searched from the earliest record on the database to June 2009.
Chronic excess alcohol use is a well-established cause of dilated cardiomyopathy. The clinical features are variable because patients may be asymptomatic despite there being evidence of severe left ventricular dysfunction. Although the mechanism of alcohol-induced cardiomyopathy is not clearly understood, abstinence from alcohol has been associated with improvement in left ventricular function.
