Introduction: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a global health problem. Reduced innate and adaptive immunological responses predispose CKD patients to infections. Despite the clinical and epidemiological importance of CKD and the great value of vaccination as a prophylactic measure, the utilization of recommended vaccines in Qatar has not yet been evaluated.

Conduction of 4-h SLED may spare time and manpower during hospitalization. Therefore, we conducted a retrospective observational study to explore the appropriateness and clinical outcomes of 4-h SLED among critically ill patients admitted to our center from 1/06/2016 to 1/06/2020.

Hence, the current work investigated the association of HIF-1α rs11549465 and VEGF rs3025039 genetic variants with the different stages of retinopathy among T2DM Egyptian patients. The crosslinks of these variants were explored with angiogenesis (VEGF), inflammation (AGEP and VCAM-1), and anti-inflammation (CTRP3) markers.

High resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) enables good sensitivity and provides more selectivity due to its accurate mass measurement of the targeted compounds. The aim of this study was to develop and validate a sensitive liquid chromatography high resolution mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS) method for the quantitative analysis of cannabidiol (CBD), cannabinol (CBN), Δ-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ-THC) and its major metabolites 11-Hydroxy-Δ-THC and 11-Nor-9-carboxy-Δ-THC in human plasma.

In this prospective study, the outcome of 81 consecutive living kidney donors was thoroughly evaluated. Clinical, laboratory, and radiological assessments were carried out at predonation (basal), 3, 6, 12, and 24 months after donation.

Materials And Methods: Sixty-three enamel and dentin slabs were prepared from 42 sound natural molars collected from uremic patients under hemodialysis and mechanically polished up to 4000-grit roughness. Nine slabs of each substrate were not etched (control group).

Objectives: The clinical significance of pretransplant donor specific antihuman leukocyte antigen antibodies that occur despite negative cytotoxicity crossmatches is still unclear. In this study, we assessed the impact of those antibodies on the outcome of renal transplants.
Materials And Methods: Our study subjects consisted of 153 living-donor kidney transplant recipients whose pretransplant sera were available.
