Developing an Operating Room-to-Intensive Care Unit Patient Handover Checklist: A Combined Quantitative and Qualitative Research Design.

This article reports a study aimed at developing and validating an Operating Room-to-ICU Patient Handover checklist. Deficient or absent clinical handovers, or failures to transfer information, responsibility, and accountability can have unwanted consequences for hospitalized patients. Clinical handovers are practiced every day, in many ways, in all institutional health care settings.

Does bacterial colonization influence ureteral stent-associated morbidity? A prospective study.

Objective: to evaluate the effect of bacterial colonization on ureteral stent-associated morbidity.

Methods: This was a prospective study that took place between February 2019 and March 2022. We examined one hundred fifteen patients for ureteric stents application.

Patients And Methods: Ninety pediatric patients with single or multiple renal stones 1-3 cm in diameter were collected prospectively and equally divided into two groups to undergo RIRS or mini-PCNL.
