Pregnancy termination for a variety of fetal or maternal conditions has been defined as one of the common obstetrical procedures. The presence of an earlier uterine scar has been found as a highly significant risk factor, which needs to be considered before the election of the misoprostol for the termination of pregnancy (TOP) uses. This study aimed to evaluate the safety of vaginal misoprostol in patients who had an earlier uterine scar, and whether its utilization might result in increasing the risks of uterine ruptures.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) management differs dramatically between Iraqi public and private sectors; this variability is due to treatment access discrepancy. The aim of this consensus is to put for the first-time uniform recommendation on how to manage patients with T2DM taking in consideration the local obstacles in Iraq. This study was conducted to determine the frequency of cerebellopontine angle tumours in patients presenting with complaints of trigeminal neuralgia.
Methods: This case series descriptive study was conducted in the department of Neurosurgery, Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad, from January 2009 to January 2012.
