Fractional flow reserve [FFR] guided stenting of left main coronary artery in acute coronary syndrome: A single centre experience.

The present study assesses the clinical outcomes after left main coronary stenting, using clinical evaluation, angiography, and Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR). A prospective observational study was conducted on 72 patients undergoing left main coronary artery (LMCA) stenting, transthoracic echocardiography, coronary angiography, and percutaneous coronary intervention were done and FFR was recorded. At the end of 6 months, follow up check angiography, FFR study were performed.

Introduction: Cross-infection or contamination are the major threats related to any medical profession. Microorganisms present in the dental clinic can cause cross-infection to the dentist, auxiliary staff and even towards the patients.

Aims: The study was conducted to assess the level of atmospheric microbial contamination and composition of aerosols before, during and after dental treatment procedures in four clinical settings.

Nicotine, the Predictor of Success or Failure of Dental Implants: A Retrospective Study.

Background: Dental implant therapy is a treatment of choice in missing teeth. However, certain conditions such as smoking, hypertension, and diabetes have negative influence on success of dental implants. Nicotine is found to cause osteoclastic changes.

Assessment of Alteration in Capnometry Monitoring during Intravenous Sedation with Midazolam for Oral Surgical Procedures.

Introduction: Capnography is routinely used for monitoring of patients subjected to sedation for different surgical procedures. There is still paucity of data highlighting the capnographic assessment of patients on midazolam sedation undergoing oral surgical procedures. Hence, we planned the present study to assess the alterations occurring in the end-tidal carbon dioxide (ETCO) values monitored during intravenous (IV) sedation with midazolam during various oral surgical procedures.

Dental health education through the brushing ROBOTUTOR: A new learning experience.

Aim: In the present study, a new electronic model ROBOTUTOR was designed to compare the efficacy of different modes of dental health education for demonstration of the Bass toothbrushing technique and also to evaluate its efficacy with different modes of dental health education in patient understanding.

Materials And Methods: Total 150 subjects were randomized into two groups, Group 1 (Questionnaire) and Group II (Investigators). Subjects with history of gingivitis and only mild periodontitis were included.
