Inverted Sinonasal Papilloma Masquerading as a Malignancy - Report of an Unusual Case.

Inverted sinonasal papilloma (ISP) is a benign epithelial neoplasm arising from the Schneiderian membrane. We report a case of ISP in a 50-year-old male that clinically presented as a polypoid mass in the nasal cavity. Imaging studies revealed it to be an aggressive lesion showing intracranial extension.

Treatment of osteoradionecrosis of mandible with bone marrow concentrate and with dental pulp stem cells.

Osteoradionecrosis (ORN) is a noninfectious, necrotic condition of the bone occurring as a complication of radiotherapy. Most cases occur following trauma or surgical manipulation of the irradiated site. Mandible is the most common bone to be affected following head and neck irradiation.

Regional anesthesia in faciomaxillary and oral surgery.

Faciomaxillary and oral surgical procedures are frequently done under local anesthesia. Only few techniques are used widely in these areas in spite of the numerous blocks available. Knowledge about these techniques could encourage use of these techniques for the benefit of patients and operators' comfort.

Potential danger of toothbrushes for children.

Toothbrush, the innocent cleaning aid, has been reported to cause life threatening oropharyngeal injuries in pediatric literature. A case of a 4-year-old child reporting to an emergency department with a toothbrush impaled in her mouth while her father was forcefully brushing her teeth is reported here. Hemostasis was achieved by digital pressure and the impaled toothbrush was removed surgically.
