Background: There is limited and conflicting evidence on the association between selenium and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Therefore, the present population-based cross-sectional study aimed to explore the relationship between dietary selenium intake and the risk of NAFLD.
Methods: A total of 3026 subjects from the PERSIAN (Prospective Epidemiological Research Studies in IrAN) Kavar cohort study were included in the analysis.
Purpose: The hypertrophied peroneal tubercle may result in lateral ankle pain with peroneal tendon tenosynovitis and rupture. The aim of this study was to evaluate different configurations and dimensions of the normal peroneal tubercle using two-dimensional CT scan.
Methods: Totally, 100 normal CT scans of cases older than 18 years of age were assessed to determine the shape of the peroneal tubercle.
